Self-hosted DCIM

On-prem DCIM. Your floor stays in your facility.

ColdAisle is open-source data center infrastructure management you run yourself. Cabinets, 3D racks, power, cooling, cabling, SNMP, work orders. MIT. No multi-tenant cloud holding the map of who sits in which U.

Possession Your servers, your database

IIS + SQL Server in your rack or VM. Backups, auth, and SNMP secrets stay inside your perimeter.

Transparency MIT, public GitHub

Read what the code does with your data. No black-box appliance. Updates from public tags.

Scope The whole floor

Not a Windows-only inventory. Linux, network, and mixed halls are the point. Windows is just the host.

Why not a DCIM SaaS?

Cabinet layouts, feeder paths, and who has a badge to which cage are operational secrets. Putting them in someone else’s cloud is a policy decision, not a convenience feature.

ColdAisle is built to stay self-contained. There is no ColdAisle tenant, no usage meter, no “export before you leave.” You already have IIS and SQL Server. The installer puts the app on that box.

Who it is for

  • Operators replacing a spreadsheet or a tired openDCIM site.
  • Teams that need LDAPS or Entra and will not send the floor plan to a vendor.
  • Anyone who wants 2D/3D, PDUs, raceways, and SNMP in one dark console.

Coming from openDCIM? Import with a preview. Mode A never moves cabinets you already placed.

Run it on your Windows box

One PowerShell script, then a browser wizard. This marketing site does not host your inventory.
