Bug fixes

• NOC 3D air particles: color now follows the closest temperature sensor. Nearby intake and exhaust probes were being averaged together (and mixed with the hall-wide supply-to-return curve), so a mote beside a cold intake could still pick up the hot exhaust on the same rack. The larger mote size is slightly smaller so those sprites no longer cover the fine particles.

Bug fixes

• Settings → Updates: apply still died during the pre-update database backup. That export ran inside the IIS request, which FastCGI ends at about two minutes (and a large table can exhaust memory sooner). The modal then closed and Settings reported “stopped during backup-site”. Backup and file apply now run in a separate `php.exe` process. The modal stays up and shows progress until that process finishes. Table rows are written in batches so one large table does not have to sit entirely in memory.

Enhancements

• NOC 3D: Settings → NOC wall display adds a particle-density slider (0–200; 100 is the previous mote count) and a Show temperature sensors checkbox. The settings preview updates live; save applies both on the NOC wall.

Bug fixes

• Settings → Updates: apply overlay vanished with no toast because the tab always reloaded after the POST, and IIS FastCGI often killed the request during the pre-update backup before a flash could be stored. Apply now writes `storage/tmp/update_last_apply.json`, keepalives during backup zip, defers every in-use PHP file (not only `settings.php`), and Settings `?_upd=` shows that result on reload.

New features

• Hall lab (experimental): overlay dashboard (`pages/dash_lab.php`) and lab NOC (`pages/noc_lab.php`) — full-bleed HUD, glass metric chips, icon rail, side inspector, event stream. Opt-in 3D `look: lab` (perforated doors, aisle lights, Hot/Cold floor marks). Admin → Hall lab. Production dashboard/NOC chrome is unchanged.

Enhancements

• Lab 3D hall: higher-res cabinet doors/frames/handles, overhead fixtures down each aisle, COLD AISLE / HOT AISLE floor labels from rack front (intake) vs rear (exhaust) and floor vents/returns.

Bug fixes

• Air particles vs rack probes: particles were colored from a hall-wide supply/cold/hot/return average, so they ignored intake/exhaust sensors on individual racks. They now inverse-distance sample nearby env sensors (with the path average only as fallback). Untagged sensors are no longer dumped into the cold-aisle average.

New features

• Collapsible sidebar: Hall, Power, Environment, Plant, Work, and Admin fold with a short expand animation. The section you are in stays open; others remember your last choice. Floor planner moved under Hall (setup, not a top-level daily item) — still on Data Centers and the dashboard 3D card.
• Page help drawer: circled ? next to the page title slides a help panel from the right (Esc to close). IPAM’s long intro lives there; other major pages have a short tip plus a docs link.

Enhancements

• Installer stack sweep: default PHP NTS is 8.3.33 (current windows.php.net 8.3). If a pinned patch 404s, the script falls back to that minor’s current zip or the rolling `*-latest.zip`. `php.ini` points `curl.cainfo` / `openssl.cafile` at PHP’s `extras/ssl/cacert.pem` when present. IIS `maxAllowedContentLength` matches the 64 MB PHP upload cap. Post-checks require `gd` and `fileinfo`. Client IIS enables Application Development (parent of CGI). Local deploys skip hall dump folders/files.
• Copy polish: ASHRAE / temp unit labels no longer show garbled `°C`. New installs write `App::VERSION` into config (was stuck at 0.2.27). Installer and raceway script examples use ColdAisle paths and v1.0.0. Raceway import requires `-ZipPath`/`-JsonPath` instead of a lab zip default. README no longer mentions the old product name.

Enhancements

• 1.0 surface doc: [`docs/WHAT_1.0_INCLUDES.md`](docs/WHAT_1.0_INCLUDES.md) and Documentation in-app. BACKLOG #8 (Liebert DS SNMP) and #9 (3D airflow) marked done.
• IPAM walkthrough: Documentation explains address plan vs subnet plan vs aligned groups, how the host index is computed (network offset, 0–254 cap, mixed prefix lengths), and the Metro-E / LAN+iDRAC assign flow. The site tour now has an Aligned groups step.
• Sample copy hygiene: Settings, openDCIM import, and Discover help text use generic `contoso` / `example.org` / RFC 5737 addresses. Root screenshots, snmpwalks, and local vendor packs stay gitignored.

Enhancements

• 3D airflow rainbow: particles tint along the path from AC supply → cold aisle → hot aisle → return (blue–green–yellow–red). Missing hot-aisle sensors interpolate until those probes are placed. Vents/returns use live supply/return color.
• 3D active/standby from SNMP: CRAC labels and a green/amber LED follow Unity system state (On = active, Off/Standby = standby) instead of only the manual role field.
• NOC cooling pane: live supply/return, aisle averages, SNMP active/standby, per-unit S/R/RH, and a 24h temperature history chart (supply, cold aisle, hot aisle, return). Poll writes `cooling_readings` for the graph.

Bug fixes

• Liebert “sun surface” temps: Unity returns Integer32/Unsigned32 max (`2147483647` / `4294967295`) when a sensor is not equipped. Those were stored as chilled-water 214748364.7° and compressor temps. Poll now drops SNMP not-available sentinels instead of converting them.

Enhancements

• Liebert DS chilled-water temp: Discover and Poll now probe LGP chilled-water temperature (`…3.4.1.2.3.1.50.7` tenths °F from the Vertiv CRV map, fallback `…3.4.1.2.3.1.3.6`). The DS NMS pack only had CW alarms, so dual/hybrid units never showed a water temp. Live telemetry adds a Chilled water card when the OID answers.
• Liebert DS full leaf map (Vertiv pack): Discover/Poll GETs the rest of the DS NMS leaves — setpoints, extra states (fan/humidify/free-cool/heater), capacities, compressor temps, run hours, remotes 1–10. Empty remotes are skipped after two misses. Unit Control SET is not included. Poll merges these OIDs even if the saved site template is still the short map.

Bug fixes

• Liebert DS temps were treated as °C: Vertiv reports supply/return in Fahrenheit (54 °F / 65 °F). Values ≤ 60 were converted as Celsius, so supply showed 129.2°. Convert F→C for storage and display (site unit then applies). Fan/cooling % no longer strip trailing zeros (`100` → `1%`, `0` → blank `%`).

Bug fixes

• Cooling Poll now stored empty snapshots: SNMP returned 14 metrics as `{numeric, raw, oid}` objects; the unit snapshot kept only scalars, so Live telemetry and the metrics table stayed blank. Poll now flattens those values into `last_poll_json` and reloads the unit page so supply/return/state show.

Enhancements

• Cooling Discover probes Vertiv DS temps: Liebert ruleset now GETs the IS-UNITY present-value OIDs (return/supply/control temp, humidity, system state, capacity) instead of stopping after manufacturer/model. Identity-only Discover was reporting empty `476.1.42.3` tables without asking for those leaves.

New features

• SNMPv3 Engine ID per agent: cooling units, devices, PDUs, and UPS store the authoritative Engine ID (hex). The poller passes it on SNMPv3 sessions so USM localizes the profile passphrase to that box (Liebert DS / IntelliSlot GET/GETBULK past sysUpTime). Not stored on the shared credential profile.

New features

• Raceway pack (lab → production): `scripts/raceway_pack.php` / `scripts/Raceway-Pack.ps1` export `cable_paths` centerlines to JSON and re-insert them by `path_id` (geometry + optional codes). Snow Globe-renamed LAD-/UCH- codes are flagged; waypoints stay the original layout.
• Import raceways from a site zip (SQL): `scripts/Import-RacewaysFromSiteBackup.ps1` reads `cable_paths` from a `coldaisle-site_*.zip` (e.g. v0.3.148 pre–Snow Globe) and upserts names + waypoints by `path_id`. Dry-run by default; `-Apply` after a SQL snapshot. Credentials are filled in the script.

Enhancements

• NOC air particles toggle: Settings → NOC wall display has Show air particles (on by default). Uncheck to hide motes on the wall; vents and returns stay.

Bug fixes

• Dashboard / NOC airflow: particles now use each cabinet's front facing (same cold-aisle inlet to hot-aisle exhaust path as Floor planner 3D). Dashboard 3D no longer includes unplaced racks at the origin.

New features

• Recovery backups include the database: *Update to v…* and *Create recovery backup* write a full `coldaisle-site_…` package (SQL inventory + uploads) and an application-files `backup_…` zip. Restore raceways/cabinets from the site package. Housekeeping can Download either file.
• Undo raceway joins: after a merge, Undo merge / Ctrl+Z splits at the junction. Click any interior corner then Split at corner #n to un-join without deleting. Original `path_id` (and cable hops) stay on the first piece.

Enhancements

• Raceway geometry is not saved on mouse-up. Dragging a vertex, curve, or whole path only changes the plan until Save this path. Revert moves and Ctrl+Z discard unsaved drags. Leaving the page warns if anything is unsaved.

Bug fixes

• Floor planner raceways vs airflow: placing or selecting a vent no longer starts a raceway path/vertex drag. Raceway strokes paint above vents again except while a marker is being placed or selected.

Bug fixes

• Airflow height stuck at 3 m: values below 0.3 m (e.g. 0.1 m on the bottom of an AC unit) were forced back to 3 m on save. Floor height now allows 0.05–12 m.
• Airflow vs cabinets in 2D: vents/returns draw and hit-test on top of racks. While placing or selecting a marker, cabinets are dimmed.

Enhancements

• Airflow height: each supply/return has Height above floor (default 3 m).
• Denser particles: a second layer of finer motes is mixed with the main stream.

• Airflow nudge: arrow keys move a selected unlocked vent or return (same as cabinets).

Enhancements

• Airflow is cabinet-aware: particles spawn along round or long slot vents, drop into nearby rack fronts, pass through to the rear, then all streams are pulled into the returns — with swirl so it does not look like a single line.

Bug fixes

• Floor planner Airflow palette: Supply vent and Return grille are real clickable tiles in the left pane (not an empty heading). Cache-bust floorplan.js.

New features

• Airflow vents & particles: Floor planner palette for ceiling supply vents and return grilles. 3D (dashboard, planner, NOC) draws markers and blue/white particles along supply → aisle → return. Toggle on the dashboard. Particle color is ready for polled temperatures later (no cooling SNMP required).

Enhancements

• Snow Globe IPAM: `scripts/snow_globe.php --ipam-only` remaps prefixes to demo RFC1918 / TEST-NET-3 and rewrites hostnames so screenshots do not leak real ISP blocks or site names. Full snow-globe runs include this step.
• Gap list G-B4-net: IPAM v1 is closed (address/subnet plans, aligned groups). Switch-interface inventory, IPv6, and DDI stay out of default scope.

New features

• Role permission matrix: Users → Platform roles has View / Edit checkmarks per area (including IPAM). Viewer stays read-only unless you tick Edit. Restore defaults is available. Users and Settings remain Global Admin only.

Enhancements

• IPAM aligned groups: field placeholders and examples are generic (no ISP or site names).
• IPAM permissions: view and edit are independent keys. Dashboard, cabling, or infrastructure rights no longer imply IPAM access. Visitors (Viewer) can look, not assign.

New features

• IPAM aligned groups: pin the same host index across two or more prefixes (Metro-E per ISP, server VLAN + iDRAC). Assign a site to index N and every member prefix gets that host record. Grid is spreadsheet-style: one row per index, one column per prefix.

Enhancements

• IPAM containers: a prefix is an address plan (host IPs) or a subnet plan (container). Nesting is manual: set Parent on the prefix. Opening a container lists child prefixes, unallocated holes, and next-free /n so you can carve a VLAN inside a site block. Import does not invent a tree.

Enhancements

• IPAM import per worksheet: after an Excel upload, each tab is listed with a guess (address plan, subnet plan, or skip). You set tracking per worksheet so one workbook can mix host lists and prefix lists.
• Clear all IPAM: Global Admin can purge every prefix and host record from Import (type CLEAR, then confirm). Inventory is unchanged.

Enhancements

• IPAM search: prefix list filters as you type (CIDR, name, VLAN, gateway) without a page reload.
• IPAM tracking modes: each prefix is an <strong>address plan</strong> (individual IPs) or a <strong>subnet plan</strong> (nested prefixes only). Import can Auto-detect, or you pick the mode. A parent/supernet column nests smaller blocks; the top-level list shows parents only.
• Updates overlay: Settings → Updates uses a GitHub → site transfer animation (same family as SNMP poll / OpenDCIM), not a green bar at the bottom of the card.

Enhancements

• IPAM Excel import: reads common DC spreadsheet layouts — tab names like `172.17.1.0` (infer /24 or dotted mask), Gateway / Subnet Mask header blocks, DHCP ranges, VLAN labels, and prefix-catalog sheets (one subnet per row). Closet legends and NAT tables are skipped instead of failing the workbook.

Enhancements

• Installer php_zip: fresh IIS/PHP installs enable `extension=zip` with the other core modules (Excel import, backups, in-app updates). Re-run `Install-ColdAisle-Prereqs.ps1` to turn it on for an existing `C:\PHP`.

Bug fixes

• IPAM Excel import: production PHP without `php_zip` can read `.xlsx` (in-process ZIP inflate; PowerShell unzip is last resort). Enable `extension=zip` still preferred.

New features

• IPAM: address plan (prefixes + static/reserved records). Import an Excel workbook (each worksheet = a subnet) or CSV. Next-free, utilization, inventory link, and conflict/orphan list. DHCP is a range fence, not a server.

Enhancements

• IIS Updates ACL: prereqs grant Modify on the whole site folder (not only `config/` and `storage/`) so FastCGI impersonating `IUSR` can replace PHP files during Settings → Updates.

Bug fixes

• Find palette: overlay used `display:flex`, which overrode `hidden`, so “Jump to cabinet…” covered the page with no exit. It now starts `display:none !important` and only flexes when opened; Esc, the backdrop, and × close it.

Enhancements

• Find palette: sidebar Find… and `/` (or Ctrl+K) open a jump list for cabinets, devices, PDUs, UPS, cables, and work orders — not a cramped top-bar typeahead.
• PDU / UPS lifecycle: purchase order, vendor, cost, dates, and warranty on plant gear (same idea as devices). Reports → Warranty includes PDUs and UPS.
• SNMP Discover: proposed map is the save target; the 100KB walk dump is folded under Other SNMP values with a filter.
• Field kit on desktop: dashboard card explains Tech mode, Add to Home Screen, and cabinet QR so phone install is visible without opening Documentation.

New features

• Machine API v1: paginated lists (`page` / `per_page`, default 50, max 200); PDUs and UPS; JSON booleans instead of SQL `0`/`1`. Write-scoped tokens can `PATCH` devices (allowlisted fields), `POST` device notes, and create/update work orders and line items. No SNMP SET / outlet control. Documentation page updated.

Enhancements

• Work orders + ticketing: list copy mentions the active ITSM system; ticket filter and list column use ITSM display id (then local change ticket). Settings → Ticketing is a vendor picker with collapsible sections instead of one long five-vendor form.
• Cabling plant: add-connection picks a device then its ports (AJAX) instead of loading every site port into one select. Bulk CSV import (template download, skip existing A–B pairs). Patch panel is a device type; Device templates can add 24/48-port copper and LC fiber starters, and new panels get jack numbers (01, 02, …) not Eth1.
• In-app documentation: sidebar Documentation is for any user who can see the dashboard (not only account admins). Adds operator how-tos for Floor planner, SNMP Discover, work-order apply-to-inventory, and Tech / field PWA; the machine API reference stays on the same page.
• Floor planner HUD: 3D spells out Orbit (overview: drag/zoom) vs Walk (aisle: WASD, look, Esc). Raceway draw is numbered steps on the 2D plan (click points → Finish); drawing from 3D switches back to 2D. Dashboard 3D uses the same Orbit/Walk strip.

New features

• Desktop search: top-bar lookup (press `/`) finds cabinets, devices, PDUs, UPS, cables, work orders, and users as you type. List pages for those areas also take `?q=`.

Enhancements

• Settings jump chips: sticky Sections bar lists every card (Ticketing, Alerts, Updates, LDAPS, …). Click expands that card and scrolls to it; existing `#hash` links still work.
• Device / PDU detail jump strip: sticky Overview / Power / Ports / SNMP / Lifecycle (devices) and Overview / History / Phases / Outlets or Breakers (PDUs) skip the card wall. Hash links still work.
• List pagination + export: Devices, Cabinets, PDUs, Cabling, and Work orders paginate (25/50/100/200). Export CSV downloads the current search/filter (up to 10,000 rows), not only the page on screen.
• Report CSV: every Reports catalog table has Export CSV (inventory, utilization, capacity, warranty, disposals, cables, orphans, audits, power path, work orders). Filters (Fits?, warranty window, path view) are kept. Power history was already exportable.

New features

• In-app API documentation: Documentation (sidebar, Users who can manage accounts) lists the machine API — auth, service accounts, GET `/api/v1.php` resources, query params, fields, errors, and curl / PowerShell / Python examples using this host’s URL.

• API service accounts: Users → Create API-Service Account (Global Admin) creates `api-service-{name}` with no website login, optional token shown once, hashed at rest. Probe `GET /api/v1.php` with `Authorization: Bearer ca_live_…` (read cabinets, devices, work orders).

• Local user password: Users → create/edit requires a matching confirmation field; save is rejected if the two values differ

New features

• Ticketing (ITSM): Settings → Ticketing picks one outbound system — ManageEngine ServiceDesk Cloud, ServiceNow (Table API), Zendesk (Tickets API v2), Jira Cloud/DC (REST v2), or Freshservice (Tickets v2). Work orders create, link, note, close, and Refresh tickets over HTTPS; the DCIM host stays internal. Optional ServiceDesk webhook remains off by default.

New features

• Device SNMP fields: Discover can add any candidate as a live field (CPU, memory, software, uptime, …) with an optional Keep history / graph flag. Poll stores last values on the device page and charts flagged gauges over 24h. No GitHub template request — the site OID map is created on this install.

Bug fixes

• Cisco Discover candidates: stop treating PROCESS-MIB PhysicalIndex / SYSTEM-EXT counters as CPU %. Walk only CPU 5-min and mem % so ENTITY-SENSOR temps and FRU fan/PSU still fit in the walk budget.

• In-app update landing: after Apply, return to Settings → Updates instead of a blank white page (keepalive flush had already sent the POST body, so the redirect header was ignored)
